How To: Get Started with Salesforce Trailhead

Are you new to the Salesforce ecosystem and you don’t know from where to start? Don’t worry we got your back. Just follow these steps and we will guide you through the process.

Create your Developer Account

STEP 1:
Go to: https://developer.salesforce.com/signup and fill in the form.

Create your own Developer Account

STEP 2:
Check your email and verify your Salesforce account!
You should receive 2 emails, the one you are looking for is developer@salesforce.com

STEP 3:
Open the email and click on the ‘Verify Account’ button.

STEP 4:
Create your own personal secure password!
*Make sure you enter a strong password with the Salesforce predefined requirements.

Select your security question & answer
Click ‘Change Password’

STEP 5:
Congratulation! You have successfully created your developer account!


Create your Trailhead Account

STEP 6:
Go to: https://trailhead.salesforce.com and click Sign Up and from the offered choose ‘Sign Up with Salesforce‘, enter your Salesforce credentials and check your email.

STEP 7:
Find and insert your verification code sent to your email address. The one we are looking for is noreply@salesforce.com.

STEP 8:
Complete your Profile! Your ‘First Name’ & ‘Last Name’ should be auto-completed, if not enter them manually.
Add a profile picture and decide if you want to make your profile public. We suggest you do it, so people can find you easily.
Your Profile URL should be auto-completed as well, if not enter it as in format by your choice. Click Next.

STEP 9:
ALMOST THERE!
Enter a Company Name, Job Title, Role, and other requirements that you see fit and press Next.

STEP 10:
Congratulation! You have successfully created your Trailhead account!
